Colourful Terracotta Maa Durga Wall Frame

These are hand made by artisans of Bengal. The clay is first given to shape by hand. Once done, they are heated in traditional furnaces. Then those are framed and given colours. Colours are of natural origin.

This artwork depicts Goddess Durga with 10 hands in “Mahishasurmardini” form. This artwork is influenced by artform of Bengali artist “Jamini Roy”
